Visiting with Friends and Family

It's been awhile, so I guess that proves everyone told me about time flying even faster when you have kids. Michael has grown allot - especially since he loves to eat and isn't crawling yet!

In March, we all celebrated Sam's babtism - especially dad who is Sammy's Godfather.

Oma came from Florida to visit and we also spent some time with Grandmom playing with our new camera.

I'm 5 months and talking is so much fun

It seems like the new experiences with Michael are non stop:

There is a new facial expression every day

(furrowing his brows in annoyance being one of the more entertaining ones

along with his first taste of peas),

sound (did he really just say "da da"?),

or favorite activity (literally putting his foot in his mouth -

unlikes dad's more figurative use of the idiom)

We're feeding him cereal and veggies now, which he devours. As soon as he sees the spoon coming he opens his mouth like a baby bird, although we end up with as much food on his bib as in his belly! Somehow his sitter, Miss Debbie feeds him with only a little smudge on his bib.

We got a jolly jumper, which he's only spinning around in. He finds the exer-saucer much more fun and stands up in it on his legs that are starting to get a little rolly polly. He is going to be crawling before we know it since he's already squirming forward on his belly after rolling over.

He's also developed a keen interest in Bruiser and Bruiser in him. Hopefully, this brotherhood will continue to bloom as they grow up together! Michael has tested Bruiser with a couple ear pulls - so far, so good.
